Macdonald's Birthplace, Glasgow, Scotland

MacDonald. Weston is majority owner of Selfridges.

Sir John A. Macdonald is buried in Cataraqui Cemetery, 927 Purdy Mills Rd., Kingston, Ontario. With him in the family plot are his mother Helen and father Hugh, his first wife Isabella, 1809-1857, and an infant son who died in 1848. His second wife Susan Agnes Bernard, Baroness Macdonald, is buried in Ocklynge Cemetery in Eastbourne, south of London, England. Another Father of Confederation, Alexander Campbell 1822-1892 is also buried there, and hockey personality Don Cherry 1934- has a plot in the cemetery.
